Go green! Take TriMet’s MAX light rail Red or Blue Lines to Washington Park Station. To get to the Rose Garden, Portland Japanese Garden, and the Hoyt Arboretum Visitor’s Center from there take TriMet’s Bus Line 63 on weekdays and TriMet’s Bus Line 83 on weekends. Walk or bicycle
Walking or biking to Washington Park is a fun and healthy way to experience all that Washington Park has to offer. The south entrance to the park is 5 minutes from downtown Portland off Highway 26 West. Take exit 72. For information on parking in Washington Park click here.
The Washington Park Transportation Management Association (TMA)
The mission of the Washington Park TMA is to implement a diverse and innovative package of access management tools that maximize safe and convenient access to and from the Park, its institutions and the adjacent neighborhoods.
The TMA’s Board meetings are open to the public and public comment is welcome contingent on time. Board meetings are held at 8:00 AM on the second Thursday of every month at:
